Dennis Molloy

Dennis Molloy joined QTC in September 2025, bringing extensive expertise in economic policy, fiscal management, and sustainability. Prior to this, Dennis served as Deputy Under Treasurer of the Economics and Fiscal Group at Queensland Treasury, where he played a key role in shaping Queensland’s economic and fiscal strategies. He was instrumental in the development of every Queensland State Budget since 2010.

Dennis previously held the role of Executive Director of Economic Policy at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, focusing on initiatives to stimulate economic growth across the state. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at the Commonwealth Treasury, contributing to economic forecasting, competition policy, Commonwealth–state financial relations, and advising the Australian Government Treasurer on major portfolios including health, education, social security, and defence.
