Bio
Brendan is Chief Economist for KPMG Australia and he also acts as Regional Chief Economist for KPMG Asia Pacific. He has worked at KPMG for more than 30 years and has been a Partner for 22 of those years. During his time at KPMG Brendan has predominately been client facing, working on nationally significant engagements including the Henry Tax Review, the Tax White Paper and Murray Darling Basin Commission water pricing. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Queen Mary University of London in the School of Economics and Finance, and he has recently been appointed an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Queensland. Brendan holds Bachelor, Masters and PhD degrees in economics and a Masters of Applied Finance.
