Jenny Wilkinson PSM

Jenny Wilkinson PSM became the Secretary to the Treasury in June 2025.

Before that, she was the Secretary of the Department of Finance from August 2022 to June 2025.

Jenny has served in the Australian Public Service for more than three decades. In addition to leading the Parliamentary Budget Office, she has held senior roles across several Commonwealth departments. In 2021, Jenny won a Public Service Medal for her work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jenny studied at Princeton University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Public Affairs. She also has a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from the Australian National University.
