Professor Steve Robson

Bio

Steve Robson is one of Australia’s most highly-qualified medical practitioners.  He holds degrees in medicine and surgery, public health, genetics, and health economics.

He is Professor at both the Australian National University’s Medical School and National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health.

Steve is the immediate past-president of the Australian Medical Association, and a former President of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.  He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Steve holds two research doctorates, including a PhD in public health.

He is a member of the Economic Society of Australia and has published in Health Economics journals in Australia and internationally.  He is one of the health economics book reviewers for the ESA’s journal the Economic Record.
